Self-Propelled Modular Transport - CLICK HERE to view one of our many successful SPMT projects.

Fagioli introduces the next generation in self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT). The system is based on two types of transport units having 4 or 6 axle lines, on propulsion units having engines of variable power, and on cabins for the operators. Each of these units are totally modular and can be coupled together to realize many different transport configurations.

The SPMT modules can be coupled rigidly together on the front or on the side to adapt the platform to that of its load. Due to the mechanically independent axles and to their electronically controlled hydraulic steering system, the resulting configuration can be steered as a single transporter by an operator using a remote control unit.

Every unit is CE and TUV certified and is provided with identification that allow them to be driven on public roads.

The unique qualities and flexibility of the SPMT, combined with its own lifting equipment, gives us the opportunity to perform works not possible in the past.

River and Ocean Transport - CLICK HERE to view one of our many successful maritime projects.

In the majority of European countries as well as abroad, certain items cannot be transported by road or rail due to their extraordinary dimensions and/or their weights which exceed allowable limits or actual physical restraints. To avoid the need of shipping the item in sections with the additional time and costs associated with field assembly, the items are often shipped on river and ocean-going barges. Many rivers, however, present their own particular problems of low draft and/or air draft. Specialized group-owned barges, including those with elevator platforms, assist in roll-on and roll-off operations which are often the best possible solution.

Additionally, once the cargo arrives at the nearest accessible sea port, it is important the continuing voyage is uninterrupted. Specialized heavy-lift shipping, both self-geared and roll-on/roll-off, is arranged and closely monitored to avoid any possible delays. The Fagioli Group owns and operates its own heavy-lift shipping fleet.

At the unloading port, the construction site is often not immediately accessible. For this, Fagioli arranges the continuing voyage to the site. Again, this often entails fluvial transports and in many cases involves special reinforcement of existing equipment to support extra-heavy loads.

Marine surveying and maritime engineering is an integral part of Fagioli's services.

Refining and Petrochemicals - CLICK HERE to view one of our many successful refining projects.

The refining and petrochemical industries present their own kinds of handling challenges.

It is advantageous to safety, quality and cost to be able to fabricate and dress very tall and very heavy vessels in the factory, or at least at ground level on site. Fagioli has proved that it can erect the very largest built and still have spare capacity, and yet still has proven economical methods for lifting of traditionally smaller vessels.

Fast track modular construction of extensions to existing facilities can require the lifting of modules over live plant. Fagioli has proved the safety of its systems to do this.

Revamps and upgrades can require heavy lifts in tight spaces with little room for lifting equipment and stability guys. PSC Towerlift is very compact in space requirement and being probably the most inherently stable system in existence requires the minimum, if any, guying.

Clients often require complete lifting and transportation packages. PSC has developed the 'Door to Foundation' concept with its parent company Fagioli S.p.A., which enables us to offer these services on a global scale.

Power Generation - CLICK HERE to view one of our many successful power generation projects.

In the construction of new power stations PSC strand jacks have proved to be labor-saving, simple, precise and fast for tasks such as- erecting modular top-hung boilers - by chain lifting of vertical strings of modules or by layer lifting horizontally connected modules; lifting ancillary equipment such as steam drums and silencers; chain lifting of flue liners; installing the rotating machinery.

In maintenance and remodeling works the same benefits have been gained in - boiler dismantling; installing flue gas de-sulphurization plant.

Civil Engineering - CLICK HERE to view one of our many successful civil engineering projects.

Fagioli's complete track record in civil and structural engineering would be a very long list indeed.

To give but a sample-

In bridge construction, the erection of bridge sections, side spans and center spans, incremental launching of bridges, slide in of completely prefabricated bridges, lifting and lowering of bridge pier foundation caissions;

In tunnel works, the lowering of tunnel machines down the access shafts;

In marine works, lowering of foundation works. Lowering of pumping stations, lifting/lowering of temporary works construction platforms for slip-formed jetty caissons and submerged tube tunnel sections;

In industrial buildings, the lifting of complete prefabricated roofs or major trusses, the raising of existing roofs to add height to buildings.

Heavy Engineering - CLICK HERE to view one of our many successful heavy engineering projects.

For Heavy Industries PSC erects finished products such as the very largest of overhead and gantry cranes. But also in the process of manufacture of heavy equipment PSC lifts, turns and fits massive sub-assemblies.

Or in the basic process industries PSC dismantles and re-erects facilities such as steel making blast furnaces.

Or in many other industries where structures need to be lifted, lowered and moved.
